Determinari ("we", "us") collects information you and your technicians provide when you create an account, set up a shop, or use our products (HVAC-R Diagnostic Pro and SCSH Diagnostic Tool). This includes account identifiers (name, email), shop and equipment details, customer site addresses you enter into service jobs, diagnostic readings (pressures, temperatures, calculated faults), voice notes, photos of equipment plates, and the contents of service reports you generate.

We also collect technical information automatically, such as device type, application version, IP address, and request logs needed to operate and secure the Services.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to provide the diagnostic, reporting, and billing features of the Services; to keep your data synchronized between mobile and web; to provide customer support; to detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers we need to operate the products — including our hosting provider, our authentication provider (Clerk), our payments processor (Stripe), our error-monitoring provider, and, for SCSH's optional AI mentor report, our AI provider. Each of these processes data on our behalf under their own published terms. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of users.

4. Data Retention

We retain shop and diagnostic records for as long as your account is active so your technicians can refer back to historical service work. You may request deletion of your account and associated records by contacting us at the address below.

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data in transit and at rest, including TLS for all network traffic, scoped database access, redaction of authentication tokens from server logs, and verified webhook signatures from our payments and authentication providers.

7. Children

Our products are professional tools intended for licensed HVAC/R technicians and their employers. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
